I’m currently studying web development and I find that balancing both the linear and intuitive mindsets has been very helpful for working through larger projects. The intuitive mindset allows you to take a step back and see the project as a whole, then switching to the linear mindset allows you to incrementally move forward from start to finish. I try balancing these two to not get too in the weeds of linear thinking. I love your point about “creative incubation” and letting things settle into the deeper, intuitive mind. We are taking in a lot of information right now, and the fire hose seems to do its trick only if we let it “settle,” so to speak. Very beautifully written and articulated. Thank you!
